Giuliani hitting New Hampshire
Giuliani is currently placing third in the state’s Republican race, behind former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Arizona Sen. John McCain, according to a CNN/WMUR New Hampshire Primary Poll released Monday by the University of New Hampshire Survey Center.
However with only 45 days left until New Hampshire voters hit the booths in their states’ primary, Rudy Giuliani has embarked on a state-wide bus tour. One of his last stops on Sunday will be for a town hall-style meeting at Winnacunnet High School on Alumni Drive in Hampton.
Survey Center Director Andrew Smith remarked on the appearance of Giuliani in the state. “Giuliani has not campaigned in New Hampshire with the intensity of either Romney or McCain, to win in New Hampshire, you have to engage in grass-roots campaigning.”
He also added that, “”Giuliani decided to run a much more national campaign. As of now, Romney and McCain are benefiting from their decision to focus on New Hampshire.”
