Why not? He is a very good campaigner, effective speaker and has strong base of support. I see now why he was unstoppable in a statewide race as Governor of Arkansas. It would be the same results for him there if he decided to run for the Senate. Furthermore, it would be beneficial for the Republican Party as they gear up to try to retake the houses. He would be running against Arkansas’s junior Democratic Senator Mark Pryor and one would assume that Huckaboom would be too much for Pryor. He would have a lot of support throughout the state and most would be happy to have him representing them in Washington.

Of course he had this to say about the idea.  “No way. Let me go ahead and put that one to rest. This about as clear as I can put it. There’s a greater likelihood of me dying my hair green, tatooing my body, and going on tour with Amy Winehouse other than me running for senate this year. Not happening.” 

I say he should do it, win the Senate, continue to solidify himself as a credible and worthy political force, build more of a coalition and try again for the White House. He could kill several birds with one big stone.
