Mike Huckabee is a man on the move towards 2012

There has been some interesting news coming from Mike Huckabee lately. First, Huckabee it appears will be leading a new political organization called the HuckPAC. Newt Gingrich will have to make room on C-SPAN and CPAC for the Huckster.

The group will be organized for “electing conservative Republicans nationwide.” Huckabee’s campaign platform will undoubtedly bleed over into the party’s principles and platform — namely the Fair Tax and social issues. It’s expected to be a heavy evangelical base with organized groups all over the country.

U.S. News reports that

[April 15] That’s when Huck is expected to announce the formation of a new economically based political action committee. The question is this: Will it be a PAC to push his tax issues or one to help him raise money to influence the upcoming House, Senate, and presidential elections and keep him in the running for the GOP vice presidency?

Secondly, Hukcabee has also signed with a talent agency in Hollywood, Creative Artists Agencies (CAA). Apparently it’s not a small outfit. The company, along with Huckabee of course, represents stars such as George Clooney and Brad Pitt.

The big question is will Mike Huckabee be starring in his own action-packed drama where he saves the president? Or maybe there will be an Oceans 14?

“Nothing has been decided,” his daughter and adviser Sarah Huckabee told CNN about his future projects. “It probably won’t be just one thing but maybe several different things. Just exploring options right now.”

Whatever he decides to do, Huckabee intends to stay busy as well as relevant between now and 2012.
