Liberal’s Disregard for the Rules
What example have we set for our children when high school students cut class and expect no negative consequences to their actions, especially when they are part of the student leadership. A Fox News article reports a “controversy” when a student skips school in order to meet Obama which results in suspension and one student’s resignation as class president. I find no controversy in a story where students are cutting class which results in punishment. According to the story, the class president is 18 years old which although makes him legally an adult, though his actions prove otherwise. He, and his friend, obtained signatures in an effort to excuse their conduct. If meeting Obama was so important to these students they could have obtained prior permission from the school to be absent, or willingly accepted the consequences of their actions. I feel the only reason this event is regarded as a controversy is because liberal society promotes the idea that we don’t need to take responsibility for our actions.
