Clinton to endorse Obama today; How will the 180 look?
UPDATE** Clinton Suspends Her Campaign and Endorses Obama
Senator Clinton will at noon today at the National Building Museum in Washington, officially concede the nomination to Barack Obama and will offer her highly anticipated endorsement. To top it all off, former President Clinton, will also be there lending his ’support’ to Obama.
The huge question remains is how will Hillary Clinton switch it up from being highly critical to Obama’s experience, vision and politics, to praising confidence in his abilities to lead the nation? I don’t expect the GOP will let many forget what Clinton and the former President really thought of Obama’s candidacy. Furthermore, on Tuesday night she went straight to work undermining Obama’s victory in which he secured the required number of delegates for the nomination by continuously hitting on the fact that she was the leader in the popular vote.
“You asked yourself a simple question: ‘Who will be the strongest candidate? Who will be ready to take back the White House and take charge as commander-in-chief and lead our country to better tomorrows?’”
She using this to gain leverage and to show just how close the race actually was. Quite reasonably, the Obama camp is a bit perturbed by the rhetoric because Clinton fully understands that popular vote is not the way nominees are chosen and her efforts to underscore seems to be an attempt to undermine his legitimacy.
This was one of many examples of Hillary’s expected 180 degree turn will look once the media and the GOP begin to exploit it. It’s hard to imagine how one extreme will look compared to the other.
Here is something I provided free of charge. The Mecca of conservative blogs, Redstate, offered something that fits in nicely with what I and many others are starting to question. Continue to read the entire post as it gets really interesting on Obama and modern day politics.
…which is undoubtedly going to be brought up quite often, in light of Senator Clinton’s anticipated concession speech tonight. As Ed Morrissey noted: “Has Obama become safely complex since February?”
The problem for Hillary is that these statements stick because they have a great deal of truth in them. The RNC has a library of these comments ready for ads in the fall. Every time she hits the road for Obama, the Republicans will remind voters of Hillary’s real opinions of Barack Obama. She’ll either have to say she was lying then or come up with ridiculous rationales to pretend that Obama has overcome these gaping liabilities — and with Obama making gaffe after gaffe, those rationales will look very weak.

Who knows who cares some say Barack H Obama that he is or is not the Messiha or isor is not a fake proffit or even just a player.
One must still ask your self what God would do?
Barack and His Strategy is He a player or not you decide.
Did Hillary get played did we all get played.
The Democratic nomination is not needed to win the national election is it?.
Her speech today will determin if she is washed up with the voters.
change my ass the same game new package just a player called Barack Obama
Change only comes from a person who stands up for something not down
Will Hillary Concede Today and speak for the party that dumped on Her or can She speak for the 18 million voters and stand for all that is right even if one must stand alone one must stand for what is right. or change will never come.
that see this for what it truly is a flawed way of thinking that if only we had a black president we could heal this country no no no the horse gos behind the carage to truley end raceist hatered in this country one must stop takeing there children to kkk raleys to hear such hatered of blacks and yes one must stop takeing ones children to hear hatered at whites even if the hatered is in ones church.
With a white far right or black far left president we may never heal this country ifpersonal responsablity for exposing ones children to hatered to just pass it on to the next generation.
I could give a fling rats ass of the color of our president if people dont take the responablty of not exposing there own children to hatered the game will never CHANGE only the players.

It will be interesting to say the least. Admittedly, I hadn’t thought of it.

There is already a fairly good Republican ad making your point:

What is Obama going to do with his posters, bloggers, pundits, supporters, reporters, reprogramm them? They are so used to sexist, racist comments that adding age-ist comments seem so natural to them.
And I presume Republicans have enough financial clout to force many papers to learn the art of nuanced political writing. I doubt NYT needs to be reminded that it needs advertising revenue. Clinton did not have that power.
