   This is untrue. Please check out a picture of Obama’s father (who by your claim would be 87.5% arab) and compare it to a picture of for instance Omar Sharif or King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia (both Arabs) and you see that Obama (and his father) have little if any Arab blood.

   It’s funny how whites created the “one drop of black blood” rule to identify someone as black, and now that Obama represents both sides of his heritage, people try to force him to be in one bucket or the other. totaly hypocrisy! Obama is white and black as he has stated always. He embraces both cultures, as you can tell by his political following. Drop the race issue and focus on his policy and McCain’s. It’s a sad time in our country’s history when we will let our biases decide the election. And the nerve of Americans to criticize other countries (i.e. Afghansitan, Iraq) for their lack of democratic policies.

The fact is he is a leftish liberal product of corrupt Chicago politics who hypocritically preaches all kinds of platitudes for others but in his public life has failed to demonstrate with his own actions. The history of his political rise in Chicago is ugly. His record in the Illinois legislature and later in the US Senate contains absolutley nothing but a record of doing what is politically expedient. He is old wine in a new wineskin. Judge a man by his actions not his words. I can’t believe there are so many intelligent people who failed to learn that very elementary kindergarten lesson.

   Who the F**K cares what color he is? We have black people who are Americans; we have white people who are Americans; we have Asian people who are Americans; we have semitic people who are Americans; Americans come in all colors, shapes, sizes and flavors. Those on the web who are promoting this whole “he’s black he’ muslim” business are focusing on RACE not policy - out of envy and latent or not-so-latent racism, I’d say. Grow up people - this is America, NOT WWII Germany or Iran.

    At least you pretend to care about the issues and act informed. I would be interested to see the specifics of the accusations that you charge Obama with. I know when he came out and said the Iraq war was a mistake it was an incredibly unpopular position…sounds like a moral judgement as opposed to political expediency to me. I would be interested as to which specific examples you were referencing in your post.

    Obama is more progresive than McCain but I don’t think that is a bad thing considering where we are after 8 years of conservative leadership. Here is a link to where he is on issues:

    Can we seriously afford another liar? Liars in 2008 running for U.S.
    President dominate! Read below, if this man lies about this, what else
    will he lie about (his habitual lifelong dishonesty is the issue, not his bllod line)…Obama is 6.25% African from his father’s sides….
    Yet, when applying for Columbia and Harvard, he listed himself as
    African American, which legally must be 12.5% African. I would rather
    vote for an honest person to be the next US President(they are out there)…at least you know who they are and they do not speak with a fork tongue (or have Michelle Obama as a wife). We need an honest, creative, straightfoward and courageous person running this nation.

    My contention is that Hillary (who initially was my favorite for 2008)
    is a pathological, serial liar… McCain is very, very mentally
    challenged. Obama is “in”…but I am starting to worry. Barack’s
    popularity and campaign fundraising are swooning. A few of his past
    friends, former teachers, and peers are coming forward more and more
    to imply Obama is an excellent embellisher, BS’er, and manipulator.
    Obama’s autobiography is filled with “composite” characters,
    rearranged time lines, and fantasy events that never occurred.

    This is serious, documented information, and not at all
    what those who want to write history about the election of the first
    so-called “African-American” president, want in the least to admit is
    true… and why it’s truth matters more than their desire to ignore the
    truth for the sake of their desire to write history. While his shrill
    wife objects, the truth is that Sen. Obama’s life, as he wrote about
    himself in his autobiography, is, in fact, nothing but a fairy tale.

    Obama lies are swept under the rug by a group think
    mentality that is so desperate to regain leadership positions - as
    opposed to actual leadership programs to earn those leadership
    positions - that it ignores the truth that Sen. Obama lies - about
    himself, about his life, about his actions - and even about his racial
    composition. In my mind, he is ranks barely above Wendell Willke or
    George McGovern for a poorly weak candidate and “smoke and mirrors”
    background in politics and life that has run for US President. If
    Obama is elected, it will be a mixture of Warren G. Harding, James
    Buchanan and Andrew Johnson sitting atop of the nation and the White
    House (by the time Obama is done, it will be renamed the Poor House).

    Why is the fact that Mr. Obama is only 6.25% African
    Black not reported? Because to acknowledge it is to report this
    devastating truth about him. Mr. Obama is not legally African-American. It is impossible for him to be, in truth, America’s first African-American president. Federal law requires that to claim a minority status, you must be at least 1/8 of the descriptor. You must be at least 12.5% of the racial component you claim for minority status. Mr. Obama, claiming to be African-American, is half the legal threshold. Mr. Obama is not legally African-American. It is impossible for him to be, in truth, America’s first African-American president.

    Yet claiming to be African-American is the soul and substance of his
    claim to fame. It is what he has used throughout his adult life to
    distinguish himself from other competitors. It is the ethnic identity
    he proclaims, and it is the ethnic identity he craves. Without it, he
    is just another mixed race ***Caucasian Arab**** with an African
    influence playing on his skin’s pigmentation. No matter what he
    craves, no matter what he has used to propel himself through life, no
    matter the racist presumption of seeing his skin and without question
    calling him black, the hard, cold, genetically inarguable reality
    remains: he is not an African-American.

    Rev., Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother. His father was
    ethnically Arabic, with only 1 relative ethnically African Black - a
    maternal great-grandparent (Sen. Obama’s great-great grandparent, thus the 6.25% ethnic contribution to the senator’s ethnic composition.). That means that Mr. Obama is 50% Caucasian from his mother’s side. He is 43.75% Arabic, and 6.25% African Black from his father’s side.

    Racist presumptions led an Ivy League admissions committee, and lazy
    “newspapers of record” fact checkers, to presume that if his father is
    African-American, then Sen. Obama must be African-American also. But
    it doesn’t work that way. Racist presumptions coupled with sloppy
    vetting don’t turn a lie into the truth. Sen. Obama is one generation
    too far removed from the ethnic African Black input to make the same
    claim as his father, Harvard’s Admission’s stamp of approval
    notwithstanding. As you can see for yourself, Sen. Obama’s
    African-American ethnic claim, when properly researched and
    documented, is a lie.

    The question no one wants to answer - particularly Mr. Obama and his
    supporters, is, “Why do you think he has an Arabic name? Why does his
    father have an Arabic name? Why does every ancestor on his father’s
    side have an Arabic name?” The answer is obvious: They have Arabic
    names because his father’s side of the family tree is Arabic. Need
    proof? Research the Kenyan records for yourself. You will find that
    his father was officially classified as “Arab African” by the Kenyan
    government.

    For Obama, telling the truth means he will give up all the accolades
    about being the first African-American president of the Harvard Law
    Review, an accolade that relies on a sleight-of-hand in job titling
    that changed the name of the top job from Editor to President. If
    stated in its absolute truth, Mr. Obama was the second person of color
    to run the Review. He was beat to the Review’s top spot by a true
    African-American about 60 years before Mr. Obama showed up for
    classes.

    Again, a very inconvenient truth. That is devastating in itself. The
    further effect is that Mr. Obama would have to convince Americans
    still reeling from 9/11, Afghanistan, and Iraq, that now is the time
    for America’s first Arab-American president. We all know what chance
    that has of succeeding.

    Of course, that would only happen if Mr. Obama told the truth about
    his racial composition. To tell the truth means Mr. Obama will have to
    admit that which he has never been forced to admit before, even in the
    face of the massive lies of his autobiography: Mr. Obama’s entire
    projection of who he is, and what he is, is a lie.

    McCain is a “white liar” because he gets confused easily but he has an
    excuse of being senile. Hillary is a serial-liar I found in this
    primary season but she has an excuse, she is a Clinton and with that
    family, they know no better. Obama is not who he says he is. I loved him but saw thru him. Let’s NOT let him off the “hook”….we need to evaluate and publically protest the below average nominees for President in ‘08. Drafting a good person is better than voting for
    a very phony actor or burned out older man.

    The Question is nor whether Obama is Black or white or arab but is he qualified to fill the office of the President of the world’s greatest Nation and see what the Constitution has to say about Obama’s citizenship:
    “Obama May Not Be Eligible for the Presidency”
    The media sure have been quiet on this if it is
    true!!!! This came from a United States Naval Academy alumnus.
    It’ll be interesting to see how the media handles
    this… Barack Obama is not a legal U.S. natural-born citizen
    according to the law on the books at the time of his
    birth, which falls between December 24, 1952, to November 13,
    1986. Federal Law requires that the office of President
    requires a natural-born citizen if the child was not born to two
    U.S. Citizen parents. This is what exempts John McCain,
    though he was born in the US Panama Canal Zone. US Law very
    clearly states: “. . . If only one
    parent is a U.S. Citizen at the time of one’s birth, that
    parent must have resided in the United States for
    minimum ten years, five of which must be after the age of
    16.” Barack Obama’s father was not a U.S. Citizen is a
    fact. Obama’s mother was only 18 when Obama was born.
    This > means even though she had been a U.S. Citizen for 10
    years, (or citizen of Hawaii being a territory), his mother
    fails the test for at-least-5-years- prior-to Barack
    Obama’s birth, but-after-age-16. In essence, Mother alone is
    not old enough to qualify
    her son for automatic U.S. Citizenship. At most, 2 years > elapsed
    from his mother turning 16 to the time of
    Barack Obama’s birth when she was 18. His mother would
    have needed to have been 16 + 5 = 21 years old at the time
    of Barack Obama’s birth for him to be a natural-born citizen.
    Barack Obama was already 3 years old at the
    time his mother would have needed to be to allow him
    natural citizenship from his only U.S. Citizen parent. Obama
    should have been naturalized as a citizen . . . but that
    would disqualify him from holding the office. The Constitution
    clearly declares: Naturalized
    citizens are ineligible to hold the office of President. Though
    Barack Obama was sent back to Hawaii at age 10, any other >
    information does not matter because his mother is the
    one who must fulfill the requirement to be a U.S. Citzen
    for 10 years prior to his birth on August 4, 1961, with 5 of
    those years being after age 16. Further, Obama may have had to
    have remained in the
    USA for some time frame to protect any citizenship he might
    have had, rather than living in Indonesia. This is very
    clear cut and a glaring violation of U.S. Election law. I
    think the Governor Schwarzenegger of California should be
    very interested in discovering if Obama is allowed to be
    elected President without being a natural-born U.S. Citizen,
    since this would set a precedent. Stay tuned to your TV sets
    because I suspect some of this information will be
    leaking through over the next several days.

    Further complicating the effort to protect marriage is the promise made by Democratic presidential candidate Barak Obama to work to repeal the federal Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) if he is elected. Just a few days ago, Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi committed to supporting that effort if Obama is elected.
    One of the key provisions of the federal DOMA is the provision that protects any state from having to automatically recognize a same-sex marriage performed in another state.

    Obama’s support for Homosexuality is therefore totally un African

    Obama is half African and half white American. HE is not African American. African American is a term that describes “blacks” who’s origins are in america, who were here since 1600’s and 1700’s. Who’s Predecessors experiences what ails American society.

    Just like an Indian immigrant who becomes citizen is not “American Indian, Obama is not African American. An African American is African, Native American and Euro-american mixed in one blood, the problem is timing, Obama’s father was a true African(Kenyan) who came in the 60s to America temporarily. His home and origins were not in America. Now if Obama’s father was Bill Cosby or Muhammad Ali or Evin Bob Marley(from Jamaica but is in the Americas)then he’d be what is meant as an “African American”

    Being African AMerican is not about citizenship, its about history. If i move to Kenya, does that make me Kenyan. If A white man from B
    British parents, is born in china, does it make him Chinese? That depends on the definition of Chinese and who defines it.
    If it wasn’t for Obama running for president, he wouldn’t be accepted as African American, by African Americans.

    Better yet, if it wasn’t for Jeremiah Wright he wouldn’t officially be black.

    Better yet, Hiss father made him “African American”, by not imparting on him the cultural education he needed to maintain his status as a true African, so be default, in America, A man of Kenyan decent, became black by default.

    Obama was, in essence an orphan of culture. His grandparents loved him and gave him what They could in terms of love and family, however the society at large, they had no control over. So as a cultural orphan he became black. This election year, he became biracial. If he wins he will become half white to those who hated that he was “black man”.
