Another “Haditha Massacre” Marine dismissed of charges

Isn’t that 7-0, Marines over Haditha prosecution? We only have one more trial to go before we can declare a clean sweep!

I wonder what John Murtha thinks now? I wonder if the New York Times, Keith Olberman and other “news” sources will recant on their accusations of  “willful targeted brutality” conducted by the Marines.

Will we hear any clarification from Rep. John Murtha? Or perhaps an apology to the Marines and their families and friends. Because this comment:

“Our troops overreacted because of the pressure on them, and they killed innocent civilians in cold blood.”

Is nothing more than slander and an outright lie. He should be on trial next.

CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. (AP) A military judge has dismissed charges against a Marine officer accused of failing to investigate the killings of 24 Iraqis.

Col. Steven Folsom dismissed charges Tuesday against Lt. Col. Jeffrey Chessani after defense attorneys raised concerns that a four-star general overseeing the prosecution was improperly influenced by an investigator probing the November 2005 shootings by a Marine squad in Haditha.

The charges were dismissed without prejudice, meaning they can be refiled, but Folsom excluded Marine Forces Central Command from future involvement.

Chessani was the highest-ranking officer implicated in the case.

  1. This whole thing was a shame put on by the anti-war, anti-Bush, anti-America, anti-military wing of the Democrat Party and America. Heads should roll for this. Disgusting, Disgraceful and Pathetic.
