Clinton backers running anti-Obama ads and have convention plans of their own
Hillary Clinton supporters are planning rallies and demonstrations at the Democratic national convention in Denver to show support for their candidate and express dissatisfaction with party’s presidential primary process and nominee, Barack Obama.
The two most active and funded groups are the The Denver Group, formed by two Clinton backers, and 18 million Voices, has filmed a TV commercial and scheduled a large reception in Denver for August 26 as well as a march on that day in Denver.
Both groups demand a roll call vote and speeches in favor of Clinton’s candidacy. Just recently when speaking with supporters Hillary did not rule out the idea of placing her name in nomination.
