It’s time to remove Senator Lindsey Graham

Where ever Republicans unite, Senator Graham will be there with Democrat friends. If there is one thing for sure, we can count on Lindsey Graham to derail any Republican movement. This proposal is nothing more than an agreement with Democratic anti-drilling plans. Is does nothing to answer the energy crisis and only allows four states to determine if they want drilling off their coast. I know the man isn’t alone in this sell out, but Graham is continuously on the wrong side of issues and his Party. What kind of name is Lindsey for a man anyway?

It’s taken time, but Sen. McCain and his party have finally found — in energy — an issue that’s working for them. Riding voter discontent over high gas prices, the GOP has made antidrilling Democrats this summer’s headlines.

Their enthusiasm has given conservative candidates a boost in tough races. And Mr. McCain has pressured Barack Obama into an energy debate, where the Democrat has struggled to explain shifting and confused policy proposals.

Still, it was probably too much to assume every Republican would work out that their side was winning this issue. And so, last Friday, in stumbled Sens. Lindsey Graham, John Thune, Saxby Chambliss, Bob Corker and Johnny Isakson — alongside five Senate Democrats. This “Gang of 10″ announced a “sweeping” and “bipartisan” energy plan to break Washington’s energy “stalemate.” What they did was throw every vulnerable Democrat, and Mr. Obama, a life preserver.

That’s because the plan is a Democratic giveaway. New production on offshore federal lands is left to state legislatures, and then in only four coastal states. The regulatory hurdles are huge. And the bill bars drilling within 50 miles of the coast — putting off limits some of the most productive areas. Alaska’s oil-rich Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is still a no-go.

And of course Obama was delighted over the “bipartisan” energy plan.

  1. This will probably be the last time possible to get rid of Lindsey Graham. He is buddy-buddy with the officials in the “opposition” party to the point that they don’t even bother to support the candidate opposing him. He is such a sleazy politician that he has paid off just about every possible contender from his campaign funds and arrogantly doesn’t even bother to campaign here. Instead, he’s going around the world humping John McCain’s leg the whole way.

He has betrayed us, the citizens of this state and country, at EVERY possible opportunity. He is an anathema to the concept of consent of the governed and representative government. He does whatever he thinks will put his big googley eyes on TV talk shows and then says that that is what we sent him to D.C. to do! He is a traitor in every sense of the word.

Bob Conley will drill through Rudolph’s red nose to get oil! He’s for turning loose the industry so that we can become energy independent as quickly as possible.

Go to http://AimHighWithBob.com and donate some small change if you want REAL change in D.C.

  2. Excellet comment. Thanks for the link and I’ll see if I can put together something for Conley. I’m with you. I want Graham out of office. He is a great jobless wonder.

  3. I’d like to see the Republican party poll conservatives and see which senators meet their approval. I’d vote against McCain, Graham, Brownback, McConnell, Hutchinson, Cornyn, Hagel, and several others. Basically, any senator who voted for the big bailout bill or the McCain/Kennedy amnesty bill. The RNC needs to stop diluting the party with right thinking wannabees.
