Obama: I was too flip on abortion question
No Obama, you weren’t. You just don’t have the testicles it sometimes takes to answer tough questions. It’s a conviction thing — a strong understanding and belief in something. Not a strong belief in believing in nothing as is the liberal code of intellect and morality. I suppose it’s things like this that repeatedly sink Democratic presidential candidates. Even those who are pro-choice find your “general” answers and longwinded debates with yourself pathetic. Just say what you feel and let it be. Aside from King Herod, you are the man who was in favor of one of the most radical abortion laws in human history. So you may want to curb the moral high-ground approach especially when you have none, at least on this issue, and leave the dazzling classroom lectures for the class room, not a national audience who already knows how it feels.
Don’t take it so bad, though, you’re not any different or any worse than other Democrats when forced to take a stand on a decisive issue. Just like you, they usually fumbled it and fell over themselves.

to sen. obama: you are the weakest link…goodbye.
Comment by Judge Roy on 7 September 2008:
It was really sad to see a man running for president answering so indecisive and acting defensive and uncomfortable to the question. As if we he was trying harder to answer it the right way instead of his way. It showed too. He had a very weak performance.

If I didn’t have to apologize to weasels or guttersnipes — or pathetic weaklings — I’d suggest those lables would characterize Barack Obama.
So I’ll just agree with you: He lacks testicularity.
And he’s predictable: Say something today, guage public impact, revise/retract/retreat later.
Actually, he’s not very bright. Knowing there were millions of people watching, he gave a flip answer to an issue such a moral and emotional issue in our country.
But, then, he answered so flipply, perhaps, because, hey, it’s just life about which he was speaking and when you, as a megalomaniac, have pushed God aside, you can say or do anything without consequence. Right?
