My Muslim Faith and, say, did I ever tell you I almost joined the military?

This answer is just oozing with dishonesty and pandering. The guy is a hack. Why can’t he just for once say something he actually means and believes instead of “uhing” and stuttering himself to a PC response. Secondly, the question was stupid and pointless. What good or any added information would come from asking someone who has never been in the military, “did you ever think of joining the military?” It’s pretty pointless at this point, isn’t it?

And I might add, this is the first time Obama has ever disclosed any prior ambitions of joining the military. That’s after two biographies and 20 months on the campaign trail.

You’re getting old and looking awfully vulnerable, Obama.

    Riiight. Another soft Democrat with radical ties to anti-American/racist people and we are supposed to think he is serious? Obama, don’t fall into the trap that so many Democrats before you have. Just stick to grievances and socialism. Leave, patriotism and American values/systems to everyone else.

    Does he really think people are going to believe that. Hell, even his own supporters probably don’t buy it and worse, some of those are probably pissed that he said it.

    This is disgusting,, talk about the fleeting act of a desperate man. “Almost joined the military” being in the military is like being a virgin either you are, or you are not.. its just that simple.

    According to the selective service website the registration was stopped in 1975 and was reinstated in 1980 after the soviet invasion of Afghanistan.

    Please Barry Sotto Obama tell the damn truth. If you would just tell the truth you would not have to keep up with all the lies you have told..

    Now that is funny. Never heard it put like that before.

    I agree, Obama looks ridiculous when he tries to be all things to all people when everyone knows the is a very liberal/socialist partisan. That interview didn’t help him.

    And now that we know the Selective Service wasn’t reinstated until 1980, his lies and pandering looks that much worse.
